PC wanders intot he bar with a fully loaded backpack. "Hey all. I am going to be taking a walk. No idea where it will take me or how long I'll be gone? Anyone interested in coming along?"

Nomad stops back into Da Bar and orders a round for all. He raisesd his glass in rememberance of our fellow true-to-life Scifiers who lost their lives living their dream on board the Space ship Columbia.
AsIs raises her glass, "To the heroes who bring us the universe. From many nations, from one world, when all is said and done, from space you see, that there are no lines that divide us, just one precious planet aglow in her glory. To the heroes who bring us together and make all the stars shine that much brighter."
Merle looks out the window and see's his patrons floating by on the river.

Merle peeped into Da Bar, and tried to nonchalantly start cleaning tables.
"Boy!" Roared the barkeep. "Where've you been, you worthless pile of turtle dung??? It's been over a year since you've been to work, you insolent little snot! And you think you can just waltz back in here, and start right back up like nothing's happened? Where's my whip. Your old master said you needed constant whipping and he was right!"
Merle cowered down, and started fawning at barkeep's knees. "Yes, master, you are so right. I deserve a floggin, yes indeed. I deserve no better. But please, I promise, it will never happen again!"
Barkeep looked at Merle skeptically, and then nodded. "OK. Get cleaning."
Merle began bowing and weeping about barkeep's generosity, and began wiping down tables. Meanwhile Barkeep commented to AsIs, "I wonder if anyone will tell him that slavery's illegal? Oh well, as long as he believes it, it's free labor for me."
